Skin Care That Is Surprisingly FSA & HSA Eligible

With the damaging UV rays of the Sun constantly bombarding our skin, it’s no surprise that many skin-care protection products are approved for purchase using an FSA or HSA account. So grab your FSA/HSA debit card and check out the many interesting skin care items available online! Here are a few surprising items I’ve discovered recently that are all FSA or HSA eligible:

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti Aging Face Primer with Sunscreen SPF 50 Cell Ox Shield

Anti-aging got me on this one. According to the item’s description, besides providing SPF 50 protection, it “Instantly corrects signs of skin aging” and “Smooths fine lines, wrinkles, and pores”. Why not try it with your FSA/HSA dollars?

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Melt In Face and Body Sunscreen Milk SPF 60 with Cell Ox Shield

Milk does a body good, apparently on the body as well. I suppose the milky-ness provides the “Velvety texture” while combining “UVA/UVB filters to deliver broad spectrum protection”. Just don’t drink it.

Neutrogena Clear Face Liquid-Lotion Sunscreen SPF 55

A standard sunscreen lotion from a ubiquitous brand, but formulated for acne-prone skin. SPF 55 should be decent protection from the sun too.

Aveeno Active Naturals Protect + Hydrate for Face SPF 50 Sunscreen Lotion

A favorite brand in my household, this lotion “with Nourishing Oat” should help protect during more active moments. It claims it is sweat and water resistant up to 80 minutes!

JACK BLACK – Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25

Another favorite brand of ours is Jack Black. Lips are skin too, right? This surprisingly FSA and HSA eligible lip balm offers green tea antioxidants and Broad-Spectrum UVA and UVB Protection. I’m not sure if all the varieties are eligible, but definitely the Natural Mint & Shea Butter flavor (because Amazon.com says so!)
